In 2024, United Airlines set out to make a bold, memorable impact at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. As a sponsor of Denver Arts and Venues, United wanted to create an activation that not only highlighted their brand values—connectivity, innovation, and community—but also provided genuine value to attendees. The goal was to showcase United’s commitment to Denver and to local artists and musicians. The LSAV solution integrated a live performance stage, one that needed to be highly functional, immersive and flexible enough to be set up and taken down before and after each concert – all within the natural environment of Red Rocks without disrupting the venue’s existing concert operations. LSAV POWERHOUSE designed and executed this ambitious activation within tight production windows and a high-profile setting.
LSAV POWERHOUSE led the creative, technical, and logistical production of the activation, transforming the concept into a fully realized, high-impact experience. Central to the design was a custom mobile stage equipped with a high-resolution LED video wall and studio-quality audio system. The “plug-and-play” setup allowed local performers to easily arrive, setup and sound check, and perform with full technical support. The stage design incorporated United Airlines’ branding seamlessly into the scenic elements, complementing the natural Red Rocks backdrop while maintaining brand visibility.
LSAV managed all on-site production elements, including technical labor, brand ambassadors, audio/visual execution, and logistics for setup and breakdown within the narrow windows available before, between and after the mainstage acts. With strategic planning and expert show calling, LSAV’s role was to ensure that every activation was smooth, engaging, and professionally executed.
To create a custom website with an opportunity for guests to enroll in their frequent flier program and enter a sweepstakes for roundtrip airfare, LSAV managed United’s internal programming team and a 3rd party promotions vendor.
Additionally, United’s partnership with Denver Arts enhanced its connection to the local community, further strengthening brand affinity. The mobile stage format enabled flawless transitions between concerts, with minimal disruption to the main venue’s operations—a key logistical achievement. Ultimately, LSAV POWERHOUSE’s design and execution raised the bar for experiential marketing at live music events, helping United Airlines leave a lasting impression in one of the country’s most iconic performance spaces.
